"I have so many pictures of me in a bathing suit," she said. "People keep sending me pictures. It's super funny. I don't do that anymore, obviously, only when I'm on vacation. And, of course, now, I'm 53, before I was 22, 23, so things have changed a lot."

"Now, I'm like, 'There's things coming down here, things here,'" she said. "I don't think you can compare being 53 to 25, 23."

Russia threatens strikes on Kyiv defence sites, urges foreigners to leave

KYIV, May 25 (Reuters) - Russia said on Monday that it intended to launch "systematic strikes" on targets in Kyiv linked to the Ukrainian military as well as decision-making centres, and urged foreigners to leave, a day after one of its heaviest bombardments of the city since the start of the war.

But ‌Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha urged Kyiv's allies not to give in to "Russian blackmail." And the head of the EU mission in the city said the 27-nation ‌bloc was "not going anywhere."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to a Russian Foreign Ministry statement, that the impending strikes were "in response to the continuing terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime" ​against civilians in Russia.

The statement said Russia's armed forces "are starting systematic strikes on facilities located in Kyiv that are used for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on centres where the corresponding decisions are being made."

An earlier Russian Foreign Ministry statement urged foreigners, including diplomats, to leave Kyiv as quickly as possible.

Russia has cited what it describes as a deliberate drone strike last Friday on a student dorm in the Russian-controlled Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine's military denied the Russian accusations and said it had struck an elite drone command ‌unit in the area.

In Kyiv, rescuers tackled the aftermath of Sunday's ⁠strikes, which authorities said had killed two people and injured 91.

Moscow fired an Oreshnik hypersonic missile near Kyiv - its third use of the nuclear-capable weapon in more than four years of war.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha wrote on the social media platform X: "We are currently discussing with our ⁠partners that there is no need to give in to this Russian blackmail."

The head of the EU mission in Kyiv, Katarina Mathernova, said the Russian warning sought to sow panic.

"Russia wants fear. Panic. Isolation of Ukraine. It will not work," she said on social media. "The EU is not going anywhere. We are staying in Kyiv. We are staying with Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said around 300 sites across ​Kyiv ​had been damaged in the weekend strikes, including a newly opened museum devoted to the 1986 Chornobyl ​nuclear disaster.

More than 70 foreign diplomats paid their respects to the ‌victims of the strikes in Kyiv, visiting the heavily damaged neighbourhood of Lukyanivka on Monday.

ATTACKS IN RUSSIA, UKRAINE

Meanwhile, Ukraine continued its own attacks against Russian infrastructure and industrial assets.

In Russia's Belgorod region, one man was killed and another injured in a missile and drone attack that also cut power and water supplies, local authorities said on Telegram.

The Russia-installed head of parts of eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, Denis Pushilin, said seven people were killed in Ukrainian attacks, including a family of four whose car was struck in the industrial town of Horlivka.

In Ukrainian-held territory, two people were killed and 16 wounded in Russian attacks over 24 hours in the southern Kherson region, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on Telegram.

In a missile attack on ‌Monday on the town of Derhachi near Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-biggest city, two people were killed and more ​than 20 injured, officials said.

In the Black Sea port of Odesa, a frequent Russian target, the city's top ​official said one person was killed and three injured in a Russian strike.

A ​further 14 were wounded in the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, officials said. Emergency services said drones attacked a nine-storey apartment building in the town of ‌Pavlohrad.

The governor of those parts of Donetsk region held by Ukraine, Vadym ​Filashkin, said 12 people had been hurt in ​the frontline city of Kramatorsk.

Reuters could not independently verify the reports. Russia and Ukraine deny deliberately targeting civilians since Russia invaded its neighbour in February 2022.

U.S. mediation has failed to broker an end to the war. Each side accuses the other of seeking to escalate the conflict, and Ukraine plans to send reinforcements to its northern ​regions to counter what it believes are Russian plans for ‌a new offensive.

Zelenskiy, in his nightly address, said Ukraine had made little progress with the United States in expanding production of anti-missile defences. He also repeated ​that Kyiv was "expecting new diplomatic measures" from Washington.

Angry residents of a town at the epicenter of theEbola outbreak in eastern Congoattacked and burned a tent that was part of a health center where people are being treated for the virus, the staff there said Saturday. It was thesecond such attackin the region in a week.

No one was hurt in the attack, according to initial reports but as patients ran out to escape the fire, 18 people with suspected Ebola infections left the facility and are now unaccounted for, a local hospital director said.

The angry residents had arrived at the clinic in the town of Mongbwalu on Friday night and set fire to a tent set up for suspected and confirmed Ebola cases by the Doctors Without Borders humanitarian group, Dr. Richard Lokudi, director of the Mongbwalu hospital, told The Associated Press.

"We strongly condemn this act, as it caused panic among the staff and also resulted in the escape of 18 suspected cases into the community," he said.

On Thursday, another treatment center, in the town of Rwampara, was burned down after family members were banned from retrieving the body of a local man suspected to have died of Ebola.

Burials of Ebola-victims stir anger, frustration

The bodies of those who died of Ebola can be highly contagious and lead to further spread when people prepare them for burial and gather for funerals. The dangerous work of burying suspected victims is being managed wherever possible by authorities, which can be met by protests from families and friends.

A communal burial for Ebola patients in Rwampara took place on Saturday under tight security as tensions between health workers and the local community ran high, said David Basima, a team leader with the Red Cross overseeing burials.

Armed soldiers and police monitored the burials as Red Cross workers clad in white protective suits lowered sealed coffins into the ground. Crying family members stood at a distance.

Basima said his team, after arriving at the scene, "experienced a lot of difficulties, including resistance from young people and the community."

"We were forced to alert the authorities so that they could come to our aid, just for safety," said Basima.

Authorities in northeastern Congo on Fridaybanned funeral wakes and gatheringsof more than 50 people in an effort to curb the spread of the virus.

The outbreak is a high risk to Congo, WHO says

The World Health Organization has said that the outbreak now poses a "very high" risk for Congo — up from a previous categorization of "high" — but that the risk of the disease spreading globally remains low.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Friday that 82 cases and seven deaths have been confirmed in Congo, but that the outbreak is believed to be "much larger."

There isno available vaccine for the Bundibugyo virus, a rare type of Ebola, which spread undetected for weeks in Congo's Ituri province following the first known death, while authorities tested for another, more common, Ebola virus and came up negative. There are now 750 suspected cases and 177 suspected deaths, though more are expected as surveillance expands.

One American doctor working with a missionary group in Congohas tested positive, and several others are believed to havebeen exposed.

Dr. Jean Kaseya, director-general of the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said a response to the outbreak must include building trust with communities.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said Saturday that three of its volunteers had died from the outbreak in Mongbwalu. The agency said it believed the three healthcare workers contracted the virus on March 27 while handling dead bodies as part of a humanitarian mission unrelated to Ebola.

If confirmed, this would significantly push back the timeline of the outbreak from the previous first confirmed death in late April in the town of Bunia, the capital of Ituri.

The US bars green-card holders from Ebola-stricken countries

U.S. federal health officials said on Friday night that they are banning green card holders who have been in Ebola-affected countries from returning to the U.S.

Green card holders are people who are not U.S. citizens but have been granted authorization to live and work permanently in the United States.

According to aFederal Register noticeon Friday, the U.S. government is enacting a rule that restricts green card holders who have recently been in Congo, Uganda or South Sudan from reentering the United States.

It's unclear why South Sudan was on the list as the country has not confirmed any Ebola cases so far in this outbreak.

Such a ban will help ensure that Ebola screening, contact tracing, quarantine monitoring, and medical monitoring will be available to U.S. citizens, according to the notice.

Federal law provides for a period before such decisions become final but the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services can argue that the order can take effect immediately in certain circumstances.

The department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Marshalsseason 1 ended with not one but two major cliffhangers.

During the episode, which aired Sunday, May 24, Chief Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) was the target of repeated attacks, and when Kayce (Luke Grimes) brought him to East Camp for protection, the violence followed.

As Kayce's sonTate (Breckin Merrill) and Rainwater hid in the cabin,Mo Brings Plentyand Kayce were both on the defense as the ranch was invaded. Kayce took a bullet, but his Marshals teammates arrived just in time for backup. Cal (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea (Ash Santos) and Miles (Tatanka Means) helped defend the ranch, but not before Tate got involved and killed one of the attackers to defend Rainwater.

In the aftermath of the attack, Tom Wheeler (Chris Mulkey) offered to take Tate to Texas to go fishing, which sounded like a reprieve to Kayce, who agreed. The final scene of the episode, though, revealed that Wheeler isn't actually the ally Kayce thought he was.

Before Wheeler and Tate boarded his private plane for Texas, one of Wheeler's henchmen arrived to tell him, "It's handled." It was the same man who was on the screen moments earlier threatening Cal and Belle while they were on an investigation.

The man pulled up in his pickup truck as Belle and Cal got ready to barge into a trailer. Through the window, they saw a man was dead inside. As the truck pulled away, two gunmen were revealed and opened fire on them. The screen cut to black before showing how Belle and Cal responded to the surprise attack. (See the scene here.)

The scene with Wheeler, though, confirmed that he was the one to make the call to take out Belle and Cal, which comes as a major twist after fans have gotten to know him all season long as a rancher and friend interested in buying Kayce's land.

Andrea's fate is also up in the air after the finale. She accepted the job in Washington, D.C., but she didn't seem overly excited to leave given that the team hasn't figured out who has been attacking Rainwater.

Marshalswas renewed for season 2 just days after it premiered in March.According to CBS, 20 million viewers tuned in to the premiere episode.

"YOU gave us @marshalscbs season 2, thank you!" Kebbel wrote in an Instagrampostafter the news broke. "Finding out on the plane from NY to Austin is a moment I’ll remember forever."

BOGOTA, May 24 (Reuters) - Colombia's presidential candidates wrapped up their campaigns on Sunday with rallies that drew massive crowds, ahead of a May 31 ‌vote that analysts predict will result in weeks of heated and deeply polarizing debate ‌ahead of a June 21 runoff.

Leftist politician Ivan Cepeda, 63, was a narrow front-runner in the final poll before the ​May 31 vote. The poll, however, predicted he would lose the June runoff against either of his right-wing rivals. Earlier polls predicted he would win a second round.

Cepeda, who has pledged to continue social reform policies begun under incumbent President Gustavo Petro, faces criticisms for the incumbent's so far failed ‌policy of "total peace" through negotiations ⁠with illegal armed groups in the country.

Cepeda's critics accuse him of having ties to leaders of the now-defunct FARC guerrilla group, whose dissident factions remain ⁠key players in now six-decade-long conflict that has involved right-wing paramilitaries, drug traffickers and left more than 450,000 people dead.

Polling just behind Cepeda was Abelardo De La Espriella, 47, a businessman and lawyer who has ​pledged ​tax cuts, investments in mining and energy and a ​military crackdown on illegal armed groups ‌and drug trafficking.

De La Espriella also faces backlash over representing controversial clients, including businessman Alex Saab, accused of being a front man and financial operator for Venezuela's ousted president Nicolas Maduro. Saab was deported to the U.S. last week to face charges there.

Polling in a more distant third place was Paloma Valencia, 48, who wants to expand the armed forces, cut the size of ‌government and reduce taxes. She is supported by former ​President Alvaro Uribe.

"We can expect a fear-mongering campaign focused on ​each candidate’s worst attributes," Sergio Guzman, ​director of consulting firm Colombia Risk Analysis, told Reuters.

Insults such as "corrupt, amoral, guerrillas, ‌drug traffickers, and paramilitary sympathizers" are likely ​to dominate the electoral ​debate ahead of the runoff, Guzman said.

The next president will face the challenge of restoring security, improving the country's fiscal situation, battling informal employment and reducing poverty and inequality.

Cepeda ​closed his campaign in the Caribbean ‌coastal city of Barranquilla, De La Espriella in Colombia's second-biggest city and corporate hub ​Medellin, and Valencia in the capital Bogota.

While at theSpider-Noirpremiere at the Regal Times Square in New York City on May 13, the 62-year-old Oscar winner explained whether he had a preference between playing heroes or villains across his extensive career.

“Villain? I've played plenty of villains. I like both. I think they're both important parts of cinema. I would not want to get trapped into doing one thing,” he exclusively told PEOPLE.

Cage also explained he talked toSpider-MandirectorSam Raimiabout possibly playing Green Goblin in the early 2000s, but he decided to star in 2002’sAdaptation, as he felt that "was the right choice at the time."

“I decided to do another movie, a much smaller noir of sorts, more romantic than tragic noir,” he added ofAdaptation. “But I remember saying to Sam, ‘I hopewhoever you cast [as Spider-Man]really embraces the arachnid body language, at least for one moment. Alone in his apartment, he's crawling on the ceiling or something."

The part of Green Goblin ultimately went toWillem Dafoe, whileTobey Maguirestarred as Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, Cage was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor for starring inAdaptation. He previously won an Oscar forBest Actor for 1995'sLeaving Las Vegas.

After passing on Green Goblin, Cage got another chance to star inMarvelfilms as Ghost Rider in the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel,Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

He has also dabbled playing villains over the years, like becoming unrecognizable to portray an eerie serial killer in 2024'sLonglegsand showcasing his alter ego Nicky Cage in 2022's meta flickThe Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

Now, inSpider-Noir, Cage plays Ben Reilly, a private investigator in 1930s N.Y.C. with spidey senses, who he previously voiced inSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. However, according toVariety, the show is not connected to theSpider-Versemovies. It is based on theSpider-Man Noircomic series, which debuted in 2008, perMarvel.

According to a synopsis,Spider-Noir's Ben "is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city's one and only superhero."

Cage told PEOPLE that while approaching the role, he wanted to blend “some of my favorite old-style actors,[James] Cagney,[Humphrey] Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, and collide them withStan Lee's masterpiece,Spider-Man, and create something new.”

He also referenced wanting to "create this almost like pop-art Lichtenstein painting and performance style." In a separate interview withEsquirein February, Cage called his character "70 percent Bogart, and 30 percent Bugs Bunny."

As part of Cage's role as Ben, the actor had to do a few stunts that brought "my adrenaline up."

"I don't have any crazy stories," Cage said. "I did a lot of wirework, which is understandable since this character is flying around quite a bit on webs. I always get a kick out of that."

"Everybody was on point so I was safe," he added. "But for me, that's just the fun part of doing this. Primarily, I was focused on trying to craft this performance style that would fit in the black-and-white format."

The series will be available to stream in two versions: "Authentic Black & White" and "True-Hue Full Color."

"The truth is, they both work and they're beautiful for different reasons,” Cage toldEsquire. "The color is super saturated and gorgeous. I think teenage viewers will appreciate the color, but I also want them to have the option."
